Police and Fire Commission

Present were: Chair Scott Scheife, Sam Schneider, Larry Owen, Jack Daniels, Chris Yatchak and Police Chief Patrick Merten and Lt. Daniel Mikulec. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MOTION: (Sam/Chris) To Approve Minutes March 14, 2025. Roll call vote motion was carried unanimously at (6:01) p.m. NEW BUSINESS: A. Staff Update By Chief Patrick Merten. B. Conduct Interviews of Candidates for Officer Positions. MOTION: (Jack/Sam) To convene into closed session at (6:07) p.m. and include the Police & Fire Commission with Police Chief Patrick Merten and LT. Daniel Mikulec. Roll call vote carried unanimously. The Police & Fire Commission may convene into closed session per Wis. Stats. §19.85 (1) (c) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility and may convene into open session to take such action as it deems appropriate. MOTION: (Sam/Jack) To convene into open session at (8:04) p.m. Roll call vote carried unanimously. The Police & Fire Commission reconvened into open session. NEXT MEETING DATE: April 30, 2025.
