Police and Fire Commission

Present were: Chair Scott Scheife, Sam Schneider, Larry Owen, Jack Daniels, Chris Yatchak and with Fire Chief John Delain and Ryker Holms. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MOTION: (Sam/Jack) To Approve Minutes April 30, 2025. Roll call vote motion was carried unanimously at (1:01) p.m. NEW BUSINESS: Conduct Interviews of Candidates for Firefighter / Paramedic / and EMT Positions. MOTION: (Jack/Sam) To convene into closed session at (1:02) p.m. and include the Police & Fire Commission and Fire Chief John Delain and Ryker Holms. Roll call vote carried unanimously. The Police & Fire Commission may convene into closed session per Wis. Stats. §19.85 (1) (c) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility and may convene into open session to take such action as it deems appropriate. MOTION: (Chris/Sam) To convene into open session at (3:13) p.m. Roll call vote carried unanimously. The Police & Fire Commission reconvened into open session. STATUS: Eligibility list of today’s approved candidates listed in alphabetical order will be compiled with tomorrows candidates and noted in the minutes for the meeting on May 9, 2025.
