Search Meeting Data.
Filter every archived agenda, packet, minutes, and notice by keyword, board or committee, and date, then download what you find. This is a human-facing search layer over the same normalized dataset published for machine consumers at civicdata.germantownwi.org — this page reads /civicdata/index.json, built from this site's own adapter.
Using this with AI
Ask an assistant directly
Most chat assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, and similar) can fetch a URL you give them. Paste this into the chat:
Using https://civicdata.germantownwi.org/index.json, find [what you're looking for] in Germantown, WI Village records.
Don't assume the assistant already knows this site exists — give it the URL directly rather than just asking about "Germantown records."
Building an agent or script
The dataset publishes an llms.txt discovery file (the emerging convention for AI-agent-readable sites) pointing to the full machine-readable index:
https://civicdata.germantownwi.org/llms.txt— discovery pointerhttps://civicdata.germantownwi.org/index.json— full dataset, one entry per meeting with links to metadata, PDF, and extracted text for every document
This page's own /civicdata/index.json is a site-side mirror of the same data, used to power the search below.
Loading meeting index…
Search covers meeting titles, boards/committees, and document names — not the text inside PDFs yet. Filters update the page URL, so you can copy the address bar to share a search. Click a row to open that meeting. In the Attachments column, each document type (Agenda, Packet, Minutes, …) lists pdf and, where available, txt (extracted plain text) as separate downloads; All downloads every PDF and text file for that meeting as one ZIP. Check the box on a row (or use "select all") to bulk-download several meetings at once — one ZIP per meeting (up to 10 meetings at a time). A meeting with an unusually large set of documents may be too big to ZIP; download its files individually instead. Selecting rows clears when filters change.
